Zero Tolerance Policy

Dear Patients,

The Partners at Priory Medical Centre are committed to providing a safe and inclusive practice for all our patients and staff.

We are, therefore, saddened and disappointed to say that we have recently seen an increase in racist comments and prejudiced behaviour/language directed towards our staff. This is not only extremely upsetting but affects the morale within the surgery when we are all trying to help patients to the best of our abilities.

Zero Tolerance Policy Re: Racism & Discriminatory Remarks:

We have a strict zero-tolerance policy towards all forms of racism including racist and/or prejudiced language. Any racist comments or actions directed towards our staff or other patients will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Any registered patient who is found to be making directly racist or indirectly racist comments towards, or about, staff members will be removed from the surgery list. This is a final decision and is non-negotiable. If you are found to be in breach of the zero tolerance policy you will be forced to leave the surgery and to find an alternative surgery.
