Important Update About Adult ADHD Referrals – Quay Healthcare
1. What has changed?
The NHS (Cheshire and Merseyside ICB) has limited how many ADHD assessments and treatments providers can deliver this year.
This is because of:
- NHS funding pressures
- Decisions made by the NHS, not Quay Healthcare or by Priory Medical Centre
2. How long are waiting times now?
Because of these limits current ADHD Assessment wait times are now around 7 years.
3. If you are already on the waiting list
You stay on the waiting list, your place is kept until further notice, Quay Healthcare is still accepting referrals.
4. If you already have appointments or medication
Appointments already booked will still happen. If you have started ADHD medication, your treatment will continue.
5. Changes to waiting lists
You will still be seen based on your original referral date. Your position in the queue does not change.
