🩷 AAA Screening – Men aged 65yrs+

The Cheshire & Merseyside Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Screening Programme will be running mobile screening clinics across Liverpool, making it easier to attend your appointment closer to home.

Who is the screening for?

The screening is for men aged 65 and over who have not already had their free NHS AAA screening.

What is an AAA screening?

An abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) is a swelling of the main blood vessel that runs from your heart through your abdomen. It usually has no symptoms, but finding it early can help prevent serious problems.

The test is:

  • ✔ Free on the NHS

How do I book?

Appointments can be booked in advance, and a limited number of walk-in appointments may be available on the day.
