💗 Wear It Pink – Wednesday 28th October! 🎀
💕 Join Us in Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness!
On Wednesday 28th October, our GP practice will be taking part in Wear It Pink to raise awareness of breast cancer and show our support for everyone affected by the disease. 🎀
👚 We’re encouraging our team and patients to wear something pink to help spread awareness and support this important cause!
🔎 Why Is Breast Awareness Important?
Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers in the UK. Knowing what is normal for you and recognising changes early can make a real difference. 💗
👀 Changes to look out for include:
- 🔸 A new lump or swelling in the breast, chest or armpit.
- 🔸 Changes in the size, shape or appearance of a breast.
- 🔸 Skin changes, such as dimpling, puckering or redness.
- 🔸 Changes to the nipple, including discharge or a nipple turning inwards.
- 🔸 Persistent pain in the breast or armpit.
🩺 If you notice any unusual changes, please contact our GP practice. Most breast changes are not cancer, but it’s important to get them checked.
🎀 How Can You Get Involved?
